Lots of people contribute to life at St Mary’s and Christ Church, among them:

The Revd Gwyn Clement, Vicar

Fr Gwyn has a background in music and education.  After ordination he served as a curate in Friern Barnet and was then made Vicar of St Alphege, Edmonton, and Priest-in-Charge of St Matthew's, Ponders End.  He also became Area Dean.  He was inducted as Vicar of St Mary's and Christ Church in October 2004.  In early 2009 he was comissioned as Warden of Readers for the Edmonton Episcopal Area and later in the year was made Area Dean of West Barnet.  He enjoys music and Spanish language and culture.

The Rt Revd Robert Ladds, Curate

Fr Robert did scientific research and taught Chemistry before ordination.  He has been Chaplain to a Bishop and a School Chaplain.  He served as Rector of Bretherton and of Preston prior to becoming Archdeacon of Lancaster.  He was for ten years Bishop of Whitby.  He and Roberta have three sons and delight in their four grandchildren.  His interests include gardening, art, opera, church architecture and history.  He now serves house-for-duty.
